Ryerson Hospitality Alumni Association
Every year, the Ryerson Hospitality Alumni Association hosts a breakfast featuring a keynote speaker from the Hospitality and Tourism Industry. It is one of our highly anticipated events, connecting students with our alumni and industry partners.
Students in the Ted Rogers School of Hospitality and Tourism Management are invited to get ahead of the game and start building their network at no cost - our industry partners generously buy tables and donate seats back to students!
Last year’s keynote speaker, Johanne Bélanger, President and CEO of Tourism Toronto, spoke about marketing Toronto to the world using the new tag line “Canada’s Downtown”, while also sharing some personal insights on career changes, balancing work and personal life, and how to succeed as a career woman.
This year, we are pleased to have Don Cleary, President of Marriott Hotels of Canada, as our keynote speaker. More details to follow, stay tuned!
"The Ryerson Hospitality Alumni Association’s Keynote Breakfast really helped me get that chance to connect with HTM alumni who have shared similar experiences, who have interacted with the same professors, and who have successful careers in my industry. The connections I made will be that much stronger because we shared similar experiences and have similar goals. It was a great event!"
