Every year, the Ryerson Hospitality Alumni Association hosts a breakfast featuring a keynote speaker from the Hospitality and Tourism Industry.  It is one of our highly anticipated events, connecting students with our alumni and industry partners.

Students in the Ted Rogers School of Hospitality and Tourism Management are invited to get ahead of the game and start building their network at no cost - our industry partners generously buy tables and donate seats back to students!

On Thursday, November 9th, 2017, we were honoured to have Don Cleary, President of Marriott Hotels of Canada, as our keynote speaker. Mr Cleary has responsibility for the development, leadership, operation and financial management of all Marriott International brands in Canada. In this role, Mr. Cleary led the transition of the managed and franchised Delta hotels into the Marriott portfolio.

Thank you to Mr. Don Cleary, , President of Marriott Hotels of Canada for joining us as our 2017 Alumni Keynote Breakfast Speaker!

We would also like to thank our alumni and industry partners for generously donating seats back to current Hospitality and Tourism Management Students.

Stay tuned for photos from this year's event!

"The Ryerson Hospitality Alumni Association’s Keynote Breakfast really helped me get that chance to connect with HTM alumni who have shared similar experiences, who have interacted with the same professors, and who have successful careers in my industry. The connections I made will be that much stronger because we shared similar experiences and have similar goals. It was a great event!"

- Dominique Griffith, fourth year student, Hospitality and Tourism Management
